Pianist Mei-Ting Sun plays a concert entirely devoted to encores by Chopin, Schumann, Schubert, Debussy, Brahms, and others, including Mei-Ting’s own arrangement of Strauss’s Rosenkavalier Waltzes.

The irreverent comedy by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield traverses all 37 Shakespeare plays and all 154 sonnets in 97 minutes – or maybe 120 minutes. The actors aren’t sure. Call it chaos, irreverent, impious, a sacrilege and an audience favorite!

This Festival Orchestra Concert features 11-year old pianist Adam Jackson performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.1 in C major. Following the orchestra’s performance of Symphony No. 1 Op. 25 “Classical” by Prokoviev, Mei-Ting Sun and Gerald Robbins come together for Mozart’s Concerto for Two Pianos in E-Flat Major.

The Festival Orchestra opens this celebration of Independence Day with Quiet City by Aaron Copland and tribute to the anniversaries of Lincoln City and Salishan. Soprano, Nicole Greenidge Joseph and baritone, Ron Spivak join in a duet from Carousel and Dick Hyman premieres his piano concerto, Independence Day.
