Our
family beach trip was one to remember in
this grand beach house...the Oregon coast
has always been a special place for our
family to escape daily life...days seem to
last longer at the beach and food and wine
taste better...life is simpler here, sleep
is sounder---Americana is a true beach home,
a place of total comfort. We thoroughly
enjoyed our family gathering here.
Thank you for sharing this magnificent beach

In a
time of turmoil of nations, changing of
values, demise of the family, it was
extremely nice to come to a patriotic,
family oriented home. The spouting horn was
at its best. The arch rock bluffs were extra
nice. GOD'S nature is both humiliating and
exhilarating. On behalf of my family from
New Hampshire, South Carolina, Washington
and Oregon, we want to Thank You for sharing
your home (not house). May GOD Bless our
nation - may our nation bless GOD.

There are no
words, nor are there pictures that could capture the
tremendous peace we have felt here. We have made
memories that will last a life time. What a lovely
home…& it is a “home”. We have felt from the moment
we walked in the door that is was our haven. Every
quilt, picture, pillow & piece of décor makes it
feel like the most comfortable & special place. We
have beachcombed, eaten local flare, shopped, whale
watched, explored, played & relaxed. Most
importantly, we have bonded as a family. Thank you
for every little thing that makes this place what it
is. We will never forget it.

Our
last-minute decision to splurge and spend a retreat
weekend at the beach proved to be a good one. Your
home was the perfect spot. We all spend a good
portion of our time admiring the house - the cool
yellow and blue walls, the studio off the garage,
the fluffy red rug in front of the fireplace, and
the decks off the bedrooms (to name a few of our
favorites). Thanks for opening your beautiful home
to us.

What a beautiful house! We enjoyed
our stay so much - hate to leave. We celebrated a
week long family reunion. In total - we rented four
homes and we ALL enjoyed your home the most. We grow
olives in Northern CA, and we can't live at the
beach, but I'm taking away decorating ideas from you
so that I'll feel like we're at the ocean all the
time.

What can we say but "Thank You"! Your
house is beautiful and perfect for our family get
together. Everyone enjoyed the house almost as much
as the beach. It was a blast boogie boarding with
everybody. Sorry about the sand! Seven boys - seven
boogie boards - seven pounds of sand each! :) We
have found where we will be spending all our Coastal
Vacations!

Our last fling of
the summer! We are now back to chaos, school sports
schedules and work. Thank you for providing such a
beautiful home for our use. With five children and a
love for the beach, it is difficult to find a place
that fits us. This was perfect. We love the Oregon
coast and we will come again!

What can
I say? We had a marvelous time visiting the land of
fairies at night time in the upper reaches of "the
house". Our kids road their bikes (i.e. your bikes)
around and around. This war weary mommy took TWO, I
say two naps a day on your second story porch!! We
played games, ate and ate and played and slept. Kids
loved the hot tub! Mom and Dad loved starry nights
and wind blown gables!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Brought
the kids to the coast while our daddies were
hunting. Great escape and Bella Beach is a fun place. The kids loved
the air-hockey table - we are thinking we need the
"snuggly red rug" in front of the fireplace and the
silverware for our kitchen.
We are happy that we found your

This was the perfect house for the "Ya
Ya" sisters to have their retreat! We are a group of
nine woman who have been friends for over 20 years.
This house was a beautiful place for us to laugh,
sing, eat, chat, play games, and go for walks and
enjoy the magnificent crashing ocean. We really
appreciate that all the TV's are covered with lovely
cupboard doors, because we had no use for them (but
it was nice to know that we could watch a movie if
we wanted to!). It was easy to be happy in this
house with the creamy yellow walls and the sound of
the ocean out the windows.
Thank you for renting this place
to us so we could share our treasured friendship. The Hyde Family
Beautiful house - I can't lie, I just
love the looks of the place! We have enjoyed our
stay so much. The outside hot tub room and outside
shower have been a big hit- I don't know who liked
it more the kids or adults! Thank you for the king
bed, bikes, air-hockey table, surround sound - I
feel right at home. There are too many extras to
list, thanks for thinking of them all!
