We searched the internet for the perfect place for a family getaway to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary...after a year of planning and many hours spend on the internet we found "Americana and the Paris Studio, a five-plus bedroom luxury vacation home in the Bella Beach Community. We called on it right way and spoke with Lisa, she was extremely helpful in walking us through the home via internet photos and assured us we would be happy with the home upon arrival (she was correct the photos are nice however you cannot get the true feel for the home until you spend some time in it...it is truly a place where family memoires are made).

We arrived on a Saturday with our children and grandchildren, we ran from room-to-room looking at all the special touches and claiming our rooms for the week...the young kids swung on the porch swing or took the "supplied" bikes for a cruise through the neighborhood. The adults loaded the house with food and games for the week and what a week it was!

We whale watched in Depoe Bay as well as Bella Beach, hot tubbed in the outside hot tub room, had fires on the beach, played games late into the evenings, had great family dinners (in the fully-equipped kitchen) road bikes, enjoyed long walks on the beach, napped on the hammock, drank wine while enjoying sitting in Adirondack chairs on one of the many decks...but most of all we made family memories.
